UNDER THE NATIVE STARS

We are excited to host a two-day community festival. We strive to bring the city of Albuquerque together to share the amazing artistry of today's most influential Native American artists. We welcome all to join us to celebrate during our two-day festival. This year, we are excited to partner with Sawmill Market and Heritage Hotels to bring you a celebration of music, art, and fashion.

The 12th Annual Native Guitars Tour ‘Under the Native Stars’ Festival in Albuquerque, NM, is right around the corner! Taking place in April alongside the annual Gathering of Nations Powwow, this two-day event promises a vibrant celebration in the community through music, art, and fashion.

The festival showcases Indigenous musical artists from throughout Turtle Island, creating a space that strengthens community bonds while uplifting and highlighting the brilliance and creativity of Indigenous Peoples. Join us in supporting and celebrating Indigenous culture! We invite you to align with the spirit of supporting unity, inclusivity, and artistic expression through an Indigenous lens by becoming a sponsor.

We are seeking like-minded partners who share our passion for fostering positive change and preserving the cultural richness of indigenous communities. With your support, we can bring our vision to light and create a lasting impact in our communities.

OUTCOME & IMPACT

The 12th Annual 'Under the Native Stars' had an enormous impact on the creative business community and for the city of Albuquerque, bringing in hundreds of attendees. The event was not just a celebration of music and art but also a testament to the power of community. It supported about a dozen musical artists, ranging from high school first-time performances to seasoned professionals, some of whom are engaged in profound work within the industry from National Geographic to Netflix to national tours. The event also brought together over twenty small Native American-owned businesses, contributing significantly to economic and community growth in Albuquerque. Attendees included not only the city community but many who traveled from dozens of cities and tribes from across Turtle Island. We also had film & TV attendees and many leading and impactful community organizations. Your commitment to our mission has enabled us to create significant opportunities and support Indigenous talent across various creative domains, making a real difference in our community.
